Parking Specs

All vehicle storage at Plainwell Self Storage is paved and inside our secure perimeter with 24/7 gated access. We offer two parking products to match how much weather protection you want and how much you want to spend.

Inside-fence parking (paved, secure perimeter)

Spaces sized for boats, larger RVs, fifth wheels, and oversized trailers. Paved surface, inside the gated perimeter. Open air, no covering. Best for owners who want the highest security and the weather drainage of paved storage without paying for an enclosed unit.

Outdoor parking (paved, unfenced section)

Lower-cost paved spaces for cars, work trucks, smaller trailers, and seasonal vehicles. Same 24/7 gate code access. Best for cost-sensitive long-term parking.

Both parking types are accessible 24/7 with your personal gate code. Pay monthly. Stay as long as you need, leave when you do not.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have covered or only outdoor parking?
Outdoor only. We do not offer covered or enclosed vehicle storage. We do offer paved inside-fence parking that sits inside our secure perimeter, plus paved outdoor parking outside the fence.
What size vehicles can you accommodate?
We have spaces for vehicles up to 38 feet in length. If your boat, RV, or trailer is larger, call us at (269) 222-2150 and we will check current availability for oversized parking.
Is the parking paved?
Yes. All vehicle storage at Plainwell Self Storage is paved.
Can I access my vehicle 24/7?
Yes. Every renter gets a personal gate code that works 24/7. The office is open Monday through Sunday 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM if you need a person.
Do I need special permits or insurance?
You are responsible for insuring your vehicle. Most auto, boat, RV, and umbrella policies extend coverage to a stored vehicle. Check your existing policy first.
Can I work on my vehicle while it is parked?
No. Our parking is for storage, not for repairs or live-in use.
What is not allowed?
No leaking fluids, no live-in or overnight occupancy of an RV, no dumping of fuel or sewage, and no inoperable vehicles that cannot be moved if needed.
Can I pay seasonally instead of monthly?
Most renters prefer month to month so they can leave whenever the weather turns. If you want to pre-pay a season at once, ask the office and we will work it out.
